The wandering hour wheel design takes inspiration from the massive rotating gravity wheel found at the rear of a spaceship. Crafted meticulously from aviation-grade aluminum, each disc displays exquisite details and a superior texture. The second hand is seamlessly integrated into the center of the hour wheel, serving as the constantly rotating engine of the SPACESHIP.

Differing from standard crystals, SPACESHIP features an exceptional giant sapphire crystal, offering an expansive field of view. The crystal’s streamlined upper portion seamlessly integrates with the case, and its flat bottom provides a clearer time display. This unconventional crystal demands over 700 minutes of polishing and carries a scrap rate of over 40%, resulting in a cost that exceeds that of a regular crystal by several times to meet ATOWAK’s vision of the perfect spaceship.

SPACESHIP’s case is made from three 316L stainless steel parts, each meticulously crafted undergoes over 60 processes and costs over 180 days to achieve perfection. Each decoration line on the case requires precise hand-polishing to create the stunning alternation of glossy and matte finish. The hour discs and minute track are filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova, allowing clear time observation in dim environments and symbolizing the spirit of exploring the unknown.
